I am in my theater room on my Mac Pro in the basement using AirPort Extreme thats upstairs on the other side of the house :-)

Yeah the apple guy said we'd get better speeds if we used an airport. I don't want to buy the airport right now. I need to test the computer without the router to see the speeds

what I like is my iPhone is so much more fun when I am on my internet connection , as our G3 is fairly slow !
Downloading apps from the App Store is so quick ! And my iCloud email so much faster on my IPhone then instead of going through my Mac Pro & iCloud ......... odd

Only bad thing about getting an airport over a normal router is some folks complain they don't work with some devices or are harder then heck to set some devices up to recognize the airport.

That's from reading lots of forums so I don't know how true it is.

I have had nothing but great luck with my Air port & air port extreme finding anything thats Wi-FI . Bought a new Canon wifi printer and wammo it found it in an instant .
And I might add my Airport Extreme has one hell of a range :-) good thing I have it locked ;-) I wouldn't want Trall War Driving on me

I wouldn't war drive on you Spray Maybe dumpster diving but not War Driving

Just don't grab that bag at the bottom of the dumpster , my big dog had an accident in the living room while I was napping , the smell woke me up .
