Joseph, the song is " Strange Fruit ", not sure who sang this version but Billie Holiday did it best, it could make you weep.

The show seems to have found a way to make social commentary entertaining. Something that is only done by good science fiction

Every show is slightly weird. Haven't you been to a midnight Rocky Horror?

I loved it. The case was based partially on that of Coral Watts, who killed dozens of women and is currently in trial here for a murder he committed in the 70s. ANYWAY, I loved the unusual use of the music from Rocky Horror. And I loved Barry Bostwick, who played Brad in the movie (and that's Susan Sarandan you see in the movie clips, and you hear her singing too.) and the dripping blood credits at the end.
I never acted any of the charactors (in RHPS, but I used to yell all the stuff -- I caught myself doing it once tonight...) and that movie is SO funny. Joseph, you missed a lot of references if you never saw it.

You'd have fun with a bunch of friends. I know people who still have parties and show it.
