Yeah, I was inspired to become an artist from Wendy Pini, the creator of Elfquest. Her comic art is some of the most beautiful around. So I picked out a frame from the comic and drew it to see if I could and much to my surprise it came out VERY well. So I was like "DAMN! MOM!! I need pencils and drawing paper!" And I whiled away most of my time drawing right out of the comics. Now I am inspired by models and their poses. I try to find photos, whether they're nudes or not, shot in artistic poses and draw from that. But, like I said, it's been some time since I've seriously drawn anything. I've been wanting to get back into it for the past few months though. I need to get me some pencils.

Just an idea here. Why don't you and another member here start a comic book? I think with your artistic talent and Kris story telling ability it would be a huge hit. It might take too much money to start though
How about illustrations for childrens books? You definetly have a talent that should not be thrown away.

Oh no another idea. Police Sketch artist or maybe the person who does court sketches?

Wesley, I know what you mean about having to have a GIMICK to sell art anymore.

Its why I passed up my art scholarship to Denver University, I didnt want to become a starving artist. Do something off the wall to be considered as an absolute art genius . Throw a dirty diaper against the canvas lacquer it and zowie it sells for 15,000 bucks.

Tell me about it. When the Westfield, MA Air Force Base had their annual air show an "artist" got permission from the military to set up several canvases in front of the jet engine. The pilot let the engine run at a moderate speed to let alot of high speed air shoot out the front. And he stood there with a can of paint, threw it up into the blast and let it splatter the paint onto the canvas.
I kid you not, he sold those painting for $25,000 each! That is not [Bad Word!] art! That is a pignmented chaos experiment.
