Hang on, boys! I don't know HTML and can't seem to figure it out (I'm not stupid, there's just some things I don't get!!). There are some web page maker programs I have, but I don't work them properly or something. I'll consider this, though. And thank you for the help.

Thanks! How old are the kids? I have a Blues Clues, a Spongebob, and a really nifty Halloween theme with *scary* wavs.

Sometimes I get really compulsive and make theme after theme. Last count was 150 finished and maybe 60 partly done. You should SEE my library of cursors, icons, fonts, and sounds.
When I decided to make themes I had to teach myself a lot of things, like Photoshop, editing sounds, and in a couple of cases, making my own cursors & icons. It's fun & keeps me from climbing the walls.

How did you learn how to do it? I really am enjoying this. My computer just looks better.

Well, my first PC (4 yrs ago) was a 98 box with Plus! and I started looking at the various themes. Then I found some online and downloaded Desktop Architect and I think a theme maker textfile (I've since made a better tutorial) and just played. The first theme I did was Dracula, then some fairy themes and some of old paintings. Sometimes they just didn't work, or the colors were wrong, or the font was wrong. Sometimes I put on too many event wavs and it made you nuts to use the theme.
I do get other people's themes at times but I end up tweaking them to my taste or taking them apart and making them better. Heh heh. There are a couple of thememakers I never mess with, they are way too good. One is Girraffa, and one is Psychokilr. The problem with getting stuff off the internet (even the good stuff) is that often the themes and screensavers are wrapped in spyware and it can really mess up your computer trying to get rid of it.

Yeah, well it's a silly thing to be compulsive about, I know! I've been known to look for DAYS to find the right icons for something. And when I made a bluebird theme I had to have actual bluebird wavs. It got so bad I'd stay up all night and practically make themes in my sleep. Once I woke up and there was this gorgeous wallpaper on my desktop and everything matched. I had no memory of making it, wierd, huh?
