I don't know if it's real or not. We have it printed out and posted at the food shelf, and I asked Sheila, the boss there to email it to me. I wanted to share.

If its not real , its a heck of a good fake, as its up against an edge of a street as well as has rocks under the wheels to keep it from rolling. My guess is that the engine is out of it as it would take alot to lift the truck up and block it like that if the engine was still in it .

The wheels are chalked but what about the 2x4s?

Never thought of that Man that is dangerous. The 2x4s would not need chalking if they were wedged in a tight place so they would not move from side to side though .

Once my neighbor wanted to borrow my floor jack so he could change his oil pan gasket. When I offered to lend him my jack stands too he wanted to know what for.

Does anyone notice the fact that the dude is running an electric arc welder next to the gas tank?

Nah, he couldn't be that stupid could he? I'm sure he emptied it before working on the vehicle.

Whether it was electric or not I can't tell but I did notice the welder. My guess is as Tralyus said, the engine is out of it, making it alot lighter, and all the caustic fluids have been drained out. At least, that's a hopeful guess. If not then I'm sure it won't be too long before nature selects him for extinction.

The welder or plasma torch is sitting under the left steer tire complete with power cables.

If the tank were empty, there would still be fumes in it. The fumes would need to be displaced by something else like water or flushed out with an inert gas like argon or CO2. We were taught in shop class to fill up oil and other barrels with water before burning a hole into them.

I also think the pair of 4x4 posts are strong enough to hold up the truck complete with engine. A pair of forklifts could easily pick it up from both ends

THE NIGHT OF THE THUNDERSTORM

They were together in the house.

Just the two of them.

It was a cold, dark, stormy night. The storm had come quickly and each time the thunder boomed he watched her jump.

She looked across the room and admired his strong appearance...

and wished that he would take her in his arms, comfort her and protect her from the storm.

She wanted that...more than anything.

Suddenly, with a pop, the power went out. She screamed...

He raced to the sofa where she was cowering.

He didn't hesitate to pull her into his arms.

He knew this was a forbidden union and expected her to pull back.

He was surprised when she didn't resist but instead clung to him.

The storm raged on... as did their growing passion.

There came a moment when each knew that they had to be together.

They knew it was wrong...

Their families would never understand... So consumed were

they in their passion that they heard no opening

of doors... just the faint click of a camera......
