The resore on the computer has uncovered some old files. Some have surprised me, like my old pencil sketches. I scanned these to send to a friend who wanted to see them. And by request of the CountryChicken I will post one or two for 'ya.

I used to be into the manga style of drawing big time. These are my attempts to climb into the minds of these artists.

Thanks, Spray. I had several that didn't work to get to one that would. I had a offer to draw for a independent comic company once but I knew it was hit and miss. One day it flowed and the next you needed to sit it out. Then I got busy and... well, you know.

I have some others but I need to do some digging to get them. I might have them ready tomorrow.

Wow! Great pen and ink work! I used to have scans of my artwork too but they are gone. I'll have to dig out the sketch book and rescan them again.

I agree with Wesley and say those are great Tor I love the first one best , especially the way you used the white in the right places on her suit to create a great shadow effect

My drawings usally were in pencil too , but are usally too lightly drawn to be scanned properly or too darn big to scan

No problem. Thanks for the kind words. I think I have a track on another but it's a raw scan and too big to post. I'm going to have to install software now to crop and shrink it. But I needed to do that anyway.

I'd love to see your stuff, Wes. When time comes around to scan them, that is.

That effect was popular back about 15 years ago in manga drawing of vinyl or shiny leather. Now days I don't know how elaborate it is but that's a trademark Yukito Kishiro style.

Very nice, I read a lot of manga. My favorites are Hellsing, Psychic Academy, and Cowboy Bebop.

The 1st one is a android actually, the 2nd one is normal people from a apartment dwelling, the 3rd is a goddess (lots of power there!), and the 4th are marshall arts masters of the "anything goes" style of fight.

Pencil. Mostly mechanical drafting stuff. It was the best for carrying around. I did the bulk of them when I worked the midnight shift.

I've taken a long break from my drawing and have been getting the urge to get back into it. When I left off of drawing I was really getting into drawing female models. Nothing raunchy. Very tastefully done. That stuff is what I am most proud of and now I don't do it anymore. I think I may start soon.

Heh, City of Heroes just came out with the capes expansion, so I'll have to wait a few more levels before I can send you a pic of ole WrathStar, Rod. But yeah, he may be something to work with. Mostly his outfit is black and white. I'll send you a shot once he adds a cape to his outfit, along with some information on how to get the pic into the official City of Heroes comic. They're looking for artwork of characters. The only credit I would want is the design of the outfit and the character himself, the drawing would be in your name. I'm currently writing a series of short stories around him, and they're accepting fiction as well, so it would be a good partnership for us, your art and my words!

I was over at his place (The Den Of Iniquity) last Thursday. He helped me get XP installed on the new tower. I got to see his character in action in the city. Pretty cool!
