With all this bad weather we are having around here , and with the wheat ready to harvest, and farmers not able to get in the muddy fields to harvest , and the water contenet in the wheat is going to kill what a bushel is worth.
so I would bet anything that the price of bread , or anything with wheat in it is going to go SKY HIGH................so whats new right?

We have the same problem up here. Its time to start the canning of the early peas and the sweet corn should be coming along. I haven't seen any peas at all and the few corn fields that are up are drowning. I haven't been over to see how the sugar beets or beens are but I'm sure they are just as bad. The hay fields are looking good but cann't get in to get the hay off. Doesn't sound good for the consumer or the farmer. At least the price of gas is coming down. $1.99 a gallon is about average here.

Man it sure has been a wet spring and start of the summer............I read with the gas as high as it is that they added a 39 cent scare tax..what ever that is !

You know if we keep on loosing jobs everywhere, and prices of everything going up , where the Hell do these businesses think are going to buy their products. Plus with them moving their companies out of the US , who will buy the products they import for us to buy?
Am I just a dumbass and cant see what these big CEO's see? The USA has the biggest buying power then anywhere , but if we continue to let these companies move out of states and let us loose jobs who do they think is going to purchase the products?
I think its time that we quit giving billions of our $ to other countries that hate us , and put it towards our blue collar population , to give us some satisfaction of being an AMERICAN, I have just about all but give up on our government , i sometime wish that they would blow up DC so we could regroup and get a governmet that is for us instead of themselves lining their own pockets!

I agree but be careful you don't want the police coming and arresting you for being unamerican and antigovernment and backing terrorist and anything else they can think of. Seems like that is how it is now. Either you agree with everything that comes out of the white house or your some kind of freek that needs to be locked up and put away in a secret location where they don't even have to charge you with a crime. they can keep you indefinately.

When did we become a society that would stand still for such treatment? When did we say it was ok for our government to cicumnavigate the laws and do what ever the hell they wanted? When did we become a nation that would hide in the closet and let the government protect our families for us? What happened to the American that would look the badguy in the eye and say to him "You f--k with us and we are going to feed you your head?"

I think it was a few presidents back when they put How much you had in your bank account was how good a person you are, and it seems like the OL MIGHTY DOLLAR is our real evil, it used to be as long as you had your family and your health all was good in life, now its how much money you have makes the man.
And i know our Dirty Harry mentality has slacked and we are raising a bunch of wooses, the world has gone to hell in a hand basket , ( as granny would say)

When we die. That's the only time we'll be free of this insanity. People have to realize that America is no longer a country but a coorporation. A giant company. That's why we're in Iraq...to get our hands on more product. People are dying so America can make some more money. That's why I don't vote, I don't have anything to do with politics and, if I was ever drafted, I would refuse to go and take my one year in jail. We're not over their because we give a [Bad Word!] about people. Screw people. It's about the money.

I agree with the ideas of the independent Libertarian party. It mixes what works with Republican and Democrat with things neither of them will do. They won't win, but there involvement is trying to spread the word.
