From the reviews and the teasers I saw, I don't think I'd pay to see it. Probably wait until it hits network TV in a year or whenever. It was just too extreme and over the top.
I didn't pay to see it ... I had a $10 book of gift certificates. I went to the matinee, so it was just $5 ... and a pop and box of Junior Mints was $4.75, so I acually made a quarter on the deal. But I would pay to go see it again. But I'll probably just wait for it to come out on DVD and buy it. But like I said ... I'm a weather nut.

Not relevant to the quality of the movie, but relevant to people who want to get their hands on it. Three arrested filming "The Day After Tommorrow"

I know that there's been controversy about it ... but it's a movie for crying out loud.
I think most of the controversy surrounding the film centers around the nuts (moveon.org) who do take this movie too seroiusly and gather outside theaters complete with flyers & exaggerations.

I didn't see anything in the movie that would make me think, that the 2nd ice age was going to start tomorrow, or within my lifetime.
