I'm not a big movie watcher but I have started renting them occasionally. Anyone have any recommendations for a movie

Anything with Bruce Campbell in it.

His TV shows were also most excellent.

If you like old movies try "The long grey line" With Tyrone Power. Do not get the colorised version.

Jimmy Stewart movies are always a good choice if you like some of the older stuff.

Donnie Darko, Office Space, School of Rock, Wonder Boys. There are more, but I think those should be enough.

Try "The Stuntman" With Peter O'Toole. Or "Steel" With Lee Majors. And of course the remake of the "Legend of the Lone Ranger." None of these are Oscar calaber just fun to watch.

Definitely, I may have to go see this one in the theater, because I loved the first one.

HELL YA! BC kicks butt! I emailed him once and he emailed me back within a week. Couldn't believe it! I knew that him and Sam Raimi used to make Super8 films when they were really young (I have a pirated copy of all of them, including the promo for the first evil dead which is called Within The Woods) but when I emailed him I thought they were 35mm films.
I asked him if he and Sam ever planned on releasing those 35mm short films they made when they were young. He replied, "Actually, those were Super8 films...and no. "

Read his book, "If Chins Could Kill". It gives alot of insight into his involvment in the Evil Dead movies and alot to do with his family. It shows the hell they went through funding their early movies.

Speaking of Donnie Darko While exploring the ARG website out <Alternate Reality Gaming> , I found a reference that the Donnie Darko site had some ARG type references to it. If you have not checked it out, you may want to as it is pretty weird I think those who watched the movie will like it better then ones who have not as it is out there

That is a trippy site. I think I'll watch "Donnie Darko" when I get home tonight.

It also gives you passwords as you continue further in to the site

I should add that you allow the popups to popup there as that is how you get some of the passwords

I just got to the end where it says that if you haven't seen the movie yet, that you should stop. Thus I stopped, so I'll go watch the movie first and then come back. And I just noticed that this is from last year.. Hah...

hmm. Alright. Let's see. Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (with Sam Rockwell), The Core - I liked that movie. A lot. Paycheck, that one was pretty good. The ORIGINAL Ocean's Eleven (with The Rat Pack! w00t). Kill Bill vol2...if you're into extreme violence and David Carradine
I'm sure I'll think of more
