Lummy would always jump up on my lap when I was at my computer and try to rub his face (that was covered in drool, by the way) on my mouse hand, making it impossible to type or use my mouse. I would always throw him off my lap but now I wish I had pat him more. He was such a good little boy and wanted nothing but love.
Just give your new kitty lots of love. It's funny how they act when you're in the bathroom. All of my cats are bathroom buddies. They stand there and stare at me. Timmy was fascinated by the toilet for the longest time. He loves water so he loved to see the toilet flush. A couple times, when I was peeing, he jumped up between my legs to look into the toilet and I ended up pissing on his head. Haha!! They are such amazing little critters and once you have one on your home it will never seem like a home without one.

Mine was like a dog. She drank out of the toilet, until she fell in one time.

Sounds like she's slowly getting used to the change. She's trying to warm up to you and her environment and she sounds like she's doing well. Give it a week and she'll make it her home.
