Awe, I feel so bad about this..... NOT!

Netcraft Internet Monitoring service reported Friday that the RIAA site (Recording Industry Association of America) www.riaa.com had been down since Thursday March 17th, due to a distributed denial of service attack. The attack reportedly came from over 40 thousand MyDoom.F infected machines. According to Netcraft's real time graphs , the RIAA site started having intermittent outages on March 16th, and by the following day was unresponsive. MyDoom.F was the third most active e-mail virus on Friday, according to a MessageLabs report.

Are these not the people that are supposed to be preventing this stuff?

Secunia is reporting a vulnerability in Symantec's Norton Internet Security 2004 and Norton Antispam 2004 products. The problem could allow a malicious user to gain remote access to a victim's system.
