I thought that Batgirl grew up and turned into Batwoman. All I gotta say is, how big of a market are they going to reach with this? Are they finding out that the large majority of their readers are lesbians or something? The comic book code wants to meddle and not show too much cleavage but they want to introduce sexuality? How is her being a lesbo going to impact the story line? Is she going to fight crime in biker bars or something? How are they going to work her being gay into the story line? What does sexual orrientation have to do with hunting down the ever-elusive Joker, who is himself, metrosexual at the very least?

What is Gen13? I have yet to find good comics like I used to read a long time ago I used to love the forever people as well as the old dr strange. I seen the new dr strange had him missing an eye and could not get in to that I also forgot that I like Planetary as well but it only lasted 25 issues I think.

This is not a joke, rather a very good advice we should all seriously >follow: > >ATTORNEY'S ADVICE-----NO CHARGE > >A corporate attorney sent the following out to the employees in his >company. > >1. The next time you order checks have only your initials (instead of >first name) and last name put on them. If someone takes your >checkbook, they will not know if you sign your checks with just your >initials or your first name, but your bank will know how you sign your >checks. > >2. Do not sign the back of your credit cards. Instead, put "PHOTO ID >REQUIRED." > >3. When you are writing checks to pay on your credit card accounts, DO >NOT put the complete account number on the "For" line. Instead, just put the last four numbers. The credit card company knows the rest of the number,
>and anyone who might be handling your check as it passes through all the check-processing channels will not have access to it.
> >4. Put your work phone # on your checks instead of your home phone. >If you have a PO Box, use that instead of your home address. If you do not have a PO Box, use your work address. Never have your SS# printed on your checks,
>(DUH!). You can add it if it is necessary. However, if you have it printed, anyone can get it. > >5. Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine. Do both >sides of each license, credit card, etc. You will know what you had in >your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to call >and cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place. Also carry a photocopy >of your passport when traveling either here or abroad. We have all >heard horror stories about fraud that is committed on us in stealing a >name, address, Social Security number, credit cards. > >6. When you check out of a hotel that uses cards for! keys (and they >all seem to do that now), do not turn the "keys" in. Take them with you and destroy them. Those little cards have on them all of the information you

Keep those where you can find them. > >2. File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where your >credit cards, etc., were stolen. This proves to credit providers you >were diligent, and this is a first step toward an investigation (if >there ever is one). However, here is what is perhaps most important of >all (I never even thought to do this.) > >3. Call the three national credit reporting organizations immediately >to place a fraud alert on your name and Social Security number. I had never heard of doing that until advised by a bank that called to tell me an application for credit was made over the Internet in my name. The alert means any company that checks your credit knows your information was stolen, and they have to contact you by phone to authorize new credit. By the time I was advised to do this, almost two weeks after the theft, all the damage had been done. There are records of all the credit checks initiated by the

I got this a while back on email and while the advice is good from a banking perspective (in Australia at least) it isn`t practical. There is nothing that legally requires anyone to take notice of what you write on the back of your credit card. I had a woman ask me why I hadn`t asked her for her driver`s licence as she had written 'ask for photo id' and I informed her, as per bank regulations, that a driver`s licence is much easier to forge than a signature which we have scanned into our computer system. Most people are under the mistaken impression that it is easy to forge a signature....not if you know what you`re looking for. I`ve personally found people who have tried to forge signatures and taken the appropriate steps, I`ve also handed back driver`s licences that have been through the washer, the drier and been left on the dashboard of a car in the sun and are totally useless and unreliable as ID. As for recording the last 4 digits of your card...yes that is the important part but by circulating the email people have now given that information to those who shouldn`t know these things. Don`t trust anyone with ANY information...I know the numbers off by heart for both standard visa and mastercard that precede those 4 digits. How easy would it be for someone dishonest to learn the same thing? When you write a cheque for your credit card payment it is just as secure or more so to simply write it out to yourself or the account holder`s name...that is what I advise customers to do. Follow whatever ideas you feel comfortable with but remember that bank policy and terms and conditions of your account are often different to legal arguments. I have had lawyers argue with me about how things should be operated and why I should do as they ask...when I go out the back to get a manager or supervisor I already know I`m right but that these people need to hear bank procedures from someone else. If you have questions or concerns you can always read the fine print in the terms and conditions brochures. Another one that not many people know. When you get a new ATM card ALWAYS sign it as soon as you take it out of the envelope, don`t worry that someone will have a copy of your signature cause if they have your wallet they will have plenty of copies. Policy here states that if you don`t sign your card and someone else does you have breached the terms of your agreement on your account and the bank will not be responsible for any losses incurred if we process a transaction after accepting that card with fake signature as your bank ID. All sounds harsh but there is a reason for all of it, try it behind a bank counter for a while and you`ll see it all.

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/12/techno...&ei=5087%0AHere's a cellphone ringtone designed by kids to not be able to be heard by adults. It's very high pitched and most adults 40 or over can't hear it. I'm 34 and I can hear it perfectly. Can anyone else?
