Been playing fetch the ball across the living room floor with my pup for the past hour.........LOL
She just went in her box to sleep.
My wife has the other pup in bed with her.

I am a dog lover. And only a dog lover would understand what they can mean to anyone.

My baby in the Pic is a 5 month old English Bull Terrier, picked her out at 4 weeks old , and brought her home at 8 weeks.
She is up to 26 pounds.
The wife brought home a Toy Fox Terrier On New Years Eve , and she is only 7 days younger then the bull terrier.
She is wound like a cheap timex watch and bounces off the walls.
We lost our Tea cup poodle of 12 years in November and I cant be without a dog!

We lost our 15 year old male Schnauzer Nov. 8th. We still have a 7 year female. I have his picture as my wallpaper. I should get another one but I have so much going on right now I have put it off.

We had almost 12 grand in our poodle over the 12 years, we had her rear knees rebuilt, she was epeliptic, had addisons disease, But it never seemed to stop her.
What got her was ,her heart inlarged and her lungs filled with fluid , and while our vet was trying to get a handle on the fluid to administer the heart shot , her poor little heart just gave out.
Boy was that ever a heart breaking phone call .

Our boy died in my wifes lap and me holding his head. We really should have let him go 5 days sooner. I hurt me more than when I was a kid.
My mother-inlaw said "it's just a dog. Maybe BFI will pick it up if you put him in a bag." Have not said 50 words to her since.

I can't believe your mother in law would say anything like that. That's rotten! It's one thing to go out and find another dog to have, but that comment was totally unwarranted.

I have never figured out how shallow some people can be when it comes to pets,
I never regretted one instance of how much money we spend on our animals!!
They are family !

It has caused me to not be as friendly with her. And I know someday some way I will pop off and then what a stink it will be.

I would give up my house to have that little guy back healthy.

You'll feel better about it afterwards. I have the same issues going on too. One of these days.....

Yes we sure do! I am just a silly old guy who loves dogs too much for my own good. And I will check them all out.

With my wife being so sick I am holding it all in. If something happens to her I have nothing to keep me from relieving myself.

and its getting close to their dinner time , we have them so spoiled I have to mix soft can food into thier dry . I have to heat up the toy fox's food as she likes it warm .LOL
