I almost missed out on this as I am a registered user of Forte's Agent Newsgroup Reader. They finally released version 2.0 of Agent and are offering the upgrade to version 1.x registered users for $15

I just learned how to set up a watch filter in forte's Agent for the first time and love it

Since I usally use Xnews , I do all the grabbing via hand marking what I want, but now I can just add a keyword like comic or pdf or something like that and have it download that type of file when ever it comes up in the newsgroup list

I really like being able to do this as this way I don't miss stuff I want to download

I heard version 2.0 was just a release to update the look of Agent and the true changes wont be seen until version 2.1 So I can't wait to see what happens then.

I really like creating my own watch filters but will need to read more to get full use of it.
