There's a band here in town that I've known for a long time. I haven't seen them as much recently as I'd like ... they've gone back to playing full time so they're traveling a lot. They've even hooked up with Montgomery Gentry. They've gone to Nashville a couple times now. This past weekend they opened up for a Montgomery Gentry, Trick Pony concert here in town. They're definitely going somewhere. They're releasing their second CD soon. They've got some song clips from the new CD up on their website (I'm listening to 'em now). They've been working with Sony and hopefully someday soon they'll have a record deal and they'll tear up the country music scene.
