Post your weird/misfit links here! Please make it appropriate, though!

Does this include video links as well as links to favorite websites and software? A list of what is appropriate would be nice

Well if that is the case Here is one for people who use Windows and want to program cool windows type programs using a basic type language.

http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com
I just ordered it from Amazon.com for 19.95 + shipping and handling and wasn't sure what to expect . Basically it was version 1.12 on the cd and I used the patch on that site to update it to version 1.13

I got a 20 line program from the websites forum and when I ran it, the program showed a cool tree with figures dancing around it and snow coming down and music played.

The only thing bad is that it does create big exe files when you compile your code - between 1.5 megs on up to ?

screenshot is attached of what the 20 line source code did

Found over on Leoville
http://www.uksecurityonline.com/husdg/windowsxp/wxpp2.php
windows xp - home user self-defense - tells how to tighten up windows xp systems

If you use an older os I would click the link anyway, as there are home defense guides to other oses available to the left of the article for oses like 2000,nt,95,98,me, and even various flavors of linux.

Hey guys, can we post the tech links in the tech area please? Try to use the forums we have down there that apply to the nature of the link. I'd hate to have someone looking for these to miss them up here.

That is what I was thinking about the other day. Is it possible? Maybe a hack?

AERIAL PHOTOS FROM WORLD WAR II ARE ONLINE

World War II photographs taken from the air, often at low altitude,
are now available on the Internet. Five million pictures are being
posted, covering every facet of the war.

Vast destruction in Germany, along with sad pictures of concentration
camps and the D-Day invasion, are just a few of the topics available.
You'll probably need some patience. Demand apparently is overwhelming
the server. Give it a try at: http://www.evidenceincamera.co.uk/
