Getting ready to have Christmas Dinner. Roasted chicken, whipped potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Hope I don't get sick, it will be my first real meal in a week.

I've got some cabbage, kohlarbi, beans, cauliflower,corn and some dried herbs from last summers garden. Going to make a pot of soup today.Near by we have a baker that came from one of those little baltic countries soon after the break up the old soviet union who uses a wood fired hearth to bake everything in. Also I've got some 6 year old cheddar cheese. Bread , cheese, and home made soup. Your all invited.

i'm thinking i will pass on that selection, but thanks anyway, LOL

I just want to say that I have seen you on the boards for over a year. And you have always been very nice and helpful.
You have helped me when I may not have taken the time to thank you. So I just wanted to say this and to thank you for things your posts have helped me to do or not to do.

My neighbor had a problem. He thinks heís Mr. handyman but he does not know which the smart end of the hammer is. Now donít get me wrong he is a great guy he just has more ambition than ability. So Iíve spent most of my time putting up sheet rock in his bathroom.

Yeah it is! The funniest is when my grandmother goes outside and grills in the middle of winter, with snow everywhere.

It can be very cold.

My neighbor runs out and puts the meat on and runs back in. Wonder what he would do if it was gone sometime?

We could go take it. But then We would be accused of playing with his meat and I don't want to go there.

Harold cooked on the grill for lunch and had corn on the cob. Nothing special but it was good.

It is always better when it is cooked with lots of love.

We did some BBQ pork steaks and ribs, which are Deb's favorite. A little potato salad and deviled eggs...
