Anyone else get this in their email as I got it twice and it seems to be some sort of new virus as it contains an .scr attachment file. The virus writer seems to be taking advantage of the record industry cracking down on illegal file swappers that makes people curious to open the attachment.
Lucky I had mail washer and got two of these emails that had 2 different ip's in them that were in another country. The E-mail reads as follows -
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Downloading of Movies, MP3s and Software is illegal and punishable by law.
We hereby inform you that your computer was scanned under the IP <bogus ip removed> . The
contents of your computer were confiscated as an evidence, and you will be indicated.
You get the charge in writing, in the next days.
In the Reference code: #27685, are all files, that we found on your computer.
The sender address of this mail was masked, to protect us against mail bombs.
