I learned a few things from my Dad. I put ketchup on chilli and my tacos have to be refried beans, not beef.

I can go there. Sounds good to me. (When I am not off my grub).

I placed a nice big order for plants last night. I ordered everything from Burgess.

Good for you!! I have never had a problem with their stuff. I do think some stuff is good to pick up local. They know some of the local problems that big companys may not notice for a while.

Good Luck with it. I hope to have one soon myself.

I was happy to get it done. It's for my neighbors garden. He's getting some plants locally, but he was told by his mother (the swedish lady) that it's a good place to order plants. The only bad thing about ordering right now is that it will take 2-4 weeks before the stuff is sent out.

You have a lot of time left. Just have fun with it. And half the fun is giving it to friends. That is something to be proud of.

I do have fun with it, except for when I'm roasting outside, and when the landscaper or someone else, won't heed my warnings. They didn't listen and cut right through a sprinkler line in two different beds.

If they will not heed your warnings maybe they need a smack on the head. I know a smart young guy like you can get even. (And not get caught. )

LOL! I get back at them sometimes, but it's more fun when it comes back to haunt them.

The other day I mowed the lawn, and it was 49 degrees outside. I was shocked, but luckily by mid afternoon it hit 60. We saw a snow like substance on Tuesday.

I've done some garden work both yesterday and today. It's been weeding and ranking beds to make them look pretty until mulch arrives. I also had to weed at the top of the hill so that they "bad" grass doesn't invade the Kentucky Blue.

Oh yes!! The Kentucky Blue. I have had people all over the country ask, "is the grass in Kentucky really blue?"

The Kentucky blue rocks. It's the grass equivalent of a tank! It's funny how it spreads to fill in patches and chokes out weeds.

Put the Super House outfit on and go "borrow" some from a local grower.

Some of our local growers seem to like another type of "grass".
