I love to flower garden the best. Ive been planning my garden for next year, but nothings final till Harold helps me finsh the heavy work. The last three years we have been working on the terrace steps. framing the garden, moving dirt, laying brick o cant for get cutting down trees. Then I get to do the fun stuff and plant.

Up until my youngest was born I loved to work in the yard and the garden. Every Sunday I would be out pulling weeds, planting, or whatever. It's so fun to see the end results of your labor.

i bet your kids would enjoy gardening with you. If not pulling weeds is always a good punishment

that and picking up sticks!

Soon the seed catalogs will be here I cann't wait.

I can't grow a thing, either I water too much or too little...it takes real talent to grow things. hope you show us some during the spring/summer.

Last week I planted some herbs on the windowsill. I do miss my fresh herbs when I cook. No Jim not the kind you smoke. Not that I would ever believe you would do such a thing. Just incase you know someone who would.

Recieved the Burpee seed catalog today.

I always like to get the seed catalog. It makes me feel like summer near.

I'm ready to go play in the dirt. except its frozen and covered in snow.

I am ready too. I used to put out stuff in Late Feb. and March. I had to use Wall-o-Water and cover it up. I worked my fool self silly. I am over that now.

The lead guitar player in my band has a greenhouse. He's pulling in tomato's, lettuce, and peppers right now!

I always wanted a small greenhouse. But I guess these ice storms and tree limbs would beat it to death. You should go see him and take a sack!

I know he grows a lot of things (he has a tiller bigger than most compact cars) but I've never seen him offer up anything to us. It's kind of funny now that I think about it...

When I had a garden every year I gave away more than we ate. That was part of the fun.

The Territorial Seed Company 2004 seed catalog came today. Wish I could afford all the things in it I want.

I would like to have just one more real good garden in my life.

I rent a 20 x 40 foot lot for $20 a year, and they supply the water. Its great fun with the mix of people there. Different people and different cultures. I learned many things and now I have a house full of frozen and canned vegetables. I even have some zucchini pickles that are great.

You can't beat that. That is a good deal.
