4 more today for a grand total of 9. One was in an old abandoned cemetary. Kinda neat. Oh Bruce the TBs arrived today. We are going to make a card then mail it out so you can get it started.

We were pulled over when we tried to get to the cemetary. The old road they described to get to the cemetary is actually private property. We told him what we were doing and showed him the cache paper. He was cool about it. He knew about it and he actually tried to help another group find it once without luck. He told us we could park right off the highway which we did. They aren't allowing people to park on the old road anymore because they are having a problem with people dumping trash. The highway we were on is a highway I drove everyday when I lived in that area. The cemetary has been abandoned for over 100 years its overgrown with brush and trees. Kids have vandalized the stones. It was probably a family plot as there weren't many stones and most had the same last name. It really makes you think about who they were. Anyhow one disturbing thing is:Someones actually been digging near one stone and I don't mean just top soil I mean actually digging big deep hole.

Maybe I will start it out in my box. I was going to check my cache box out yesterday but there were way to many kids running around the woods and not enough green on the trees and other plants to help hide my movements. It is always busy up that way in the spring but it will soon slow down.

Ok we are thinking that we just want to send the tb with tag through the mail. If you want to attach something that would be cool.

I'm going to go try to find a few of these geocaches later today. I don't know what I'll exchange but I'll write all about my experience. I just may put out a few myself.

I'll have to see if my nephew wants to try this out. Most likely not, but if so then that'll be some fun. Also as I regularly go up to Jersey every year, I wonder if it is possible to find these by a travel route.

Even though I have no GPS unit Kris, I put in my zip code in the caching website at http://www.geocaching.com/ and to my surprise they have stuff even in my area

I'll have to get some pictures of where the caches are located. I knew about geocaching for quite some time now, so I'm glad I read this here and checked my area. Heck there are three about two miles from where I work.

So maybe I'll leave a mini tutu in one with Trallyus written on it. Hehe..

What exactly is a travel bug ? Is it one of those knick knacks you leave when you take an object from the cache or what?

I'm not sure but I think it may have something to do with tracking or like having a map/record of an traveling item. I have no idea how I got to this conclusion so it may be wrong.
