If it's lipid soluble, you'll like it rectally. How about some Xanax up the butt? I think you'll thank me when the woo-woo feelings wear off.

The same can be said about the outrageous prices apple charges for their computers amy. Or should I not bring that subject up? The entry iMac costs $1,199, and so does the MacBook Pro. MacBooks start at $999. A maxed-out iMac is under $2,500. Those prices are in line with quality-constructed PCs like Alienware. And by the time you add an equivalent monitor to a Dell, along with security software, photo software, video-editing software, and sound editing software, you have met or exceeded the price of an iMac. Remember that all Macs ship with iLife included in the price, and that security software is not needed. Also take into account that our customer service and support is still inside the U.S., with people who are understandable and pleasant.

But MS will only let you run it on ONE computer for that price. I have 2 and Tom has two. If we could run it on our main computer and our own personal laptops we'd buy two licenses for that price which would be 300 for a program we rarely use. They do have a license where you can buy for 3 computers but when you add the cost of that plus the cost of the extra single license your at darn near 500 dollars for a rarely used program that has FREE alternatives. I'm not a genius by any means but I know better than to throw money like that away. Microsoft needs to start realizing people do own more than one computer and that their software is overpriced and figure out a reasonably priced volume based solution. Its also another reason I abandoned MS besides that Vista blemish they have. Apples may cost more in the beginning but they quickly make up for that price difference by not treating everyone like criminals I actually think 300 for 4 computers is more than fair for office , especially since we rarely use it, since I do agree Office is nicer than the free alternatives and I think that 300 is being more than generous. But MS would rather price themselves out of competition. Software programmers do earn their pay but they need to be reasonable about it. Office Home and Student can be installed on up to three PCs http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msst...26300/list.true Cool, the display at Microcenter said that only was for one. Good to Know. The guy was trying to sell us a box for 3 computers and charge us 250. Maybe what he was pushing wasn't the Home and Student. I got turned off by the price and didn't look further

I agree with you Amy that most folks by cheap computers thinking they will last them a long time. I know my other computer lasted 7 years before I ended up replacing it. Also as for josephs statement about comparing macs to alienware computers is plain foolish as Alienware computers are mostly gaming machines and I went out and bought a pc from best buy with 8 cores for cheaper then a mac or alienware computer and I am pretty sure that it will last me a lot longer then 7 years for what I do with it. Alienware computers are nice and all but too expensive unless your a hard core gamer. Mostly the reason I think apple is so expensive is why levis were so expensive in the past. It all comes down to name brand. Apple guards its product with a lot of care while PC's are being made by everyone and his brother If there was only one pc maker in the world then I am sure it would be the same as them and charge higher prices and they would probably be more stable like the apple computers as well, etc. But since we have multiple pc makers it keeps the cost down since they don't use standard parts. Hence that is why I can buy an 8 core machine with loads of ram and a super video and sound card while trying to get that on a mac equivalent is next to impossible unless they changed things since I last looked at mac computers

I just configured a Mac Pro with the most expensive hardware options available, and it was a whopping $11,899.00. Dang that is crazy for a computer Joseph Did you actually pay for it or just configure it and what did you get for that price if I may ask?

I just wanted to see what the most expensive Mac would cost. Not even a really geeky home user needs that much power. That Mac Pro would have been for animation or photo studios doing some very heavy design work, or a science program doing some really heavy-duty modeling.

So even maxed out it's not for games then That leaves most people with the choice of PC then
