I was waiting for someone to mention that movie. Both Gweep and Tor win a fun filled trip to ND to help me thaw out the snowblower.
Anyway, with all of the emphasis on using natural renewable materials I feel that somehow this might make a comeback in a big way. Hemp can be used for a lot of different stuff. The political strong arm holds of yesterday are loosing their grip.

It won't work,they don't have snow. I love snow and cold I love felling the burning sensation one gets from frost bite. Thanks for the posting. I am going back to my igloo now.

This would be an amazing next step. Heads up displays on windshields or glasses or contact lenses. Clothing that could change styles to whatever you uploaded. Hell, you could even have it implanted into your skin and create ever-changing tatoos that you could turn off whenever you wanted. If you apply two sheets of this TTFT film together and apply a polarized sheet in between you could have a 3D tatoo.
