I am trying to envision how this will change the world.

The key is storage. That is the magic we all need. Using what we have right now to generate the power is enough. A few solar panels in the desert and wind mills in the mountains work well. We don't need to invent anything else to generate power. We just have to store it until we need to use it, not generate it and have it disappear when no one needed to use it right then. It all seems so easy...

Yup, this guy will change the world if he can just get funded and set up a factory to produce the generators.

Hook it up to the power company, sell the energy and then you'll have all the money you want!

Thats the sticky part is the electric companies do NOT like to pay out money for your extra energy .
We have had several people around me back in the 90's using wind energy to power their houses and the electric company is supposed to buy the energy you dont use and goes into the grid , and the companies cried about having to pay and made the payouts long and drawn out to keep from paying so the people got fed up and just tore down their wind generators !
The power companies are in the business to make money not pay out ! They want to keep you dependent on them !

There has been alot of excellent cheap ways to produce energy and it has been stifled from big conglomerates . and they wont give out patents for these great ideas .

I would be happy to not have a bill. I don't care so much about the power company paying me really. I wouldn't have torn down my generators over that...

The Electric company was supposed to pay you more for a kilowatt then what you actually paid for it , at least that was the law they set and it wasnt well received by the Electric company .

There a guy a few miles from me that has a wind generator going right now , but I dont know if he is tied in with the Electric company to sell his left overs , but he also is selling kits I think as he has a sign up for them .

I dont think I would get by with one beings I live right in town . Same with the Solar panels on the roofs of houses , they are up there but no one uses them anymore . I wish I would of set up solar panels on the roof of my garage and run water pipes in the cement floor of my garage and had radiant heat , right now I only have a 55K diesel turbo heater to heat with , it works well but I cant paint when its cold .

I think I heard that locally they will pay you back the wholesale rate but charge you the retail rate.
