I am grasping Amy as the assistant did not seem to do the job or he would not be asking for help.

I found a junky windows box in the alley. Guess what it had on it? An XP serial. smile No harddrive and they cut all the cables and smashed the mobo. But I did peel the serial off. I'm gonna take one for Joseph and try to recreate his problem in a little while.

I thought that was the issue until I actually read the instructions. You install the drivers after Windows is installed from what I am reading.

Ok don't know if this serial is going to work but thats ok. Windows gives you 30 days so it'll still work. I'm installing now. I did notice in the print out that if you are using an Apple Mighty mouse, the windows Installer may not respond if the mouse is connected directly to the computer. To fix this connect the Mighty Mouse to the USB port on your keyboard

Amy, I figured out what the problem was. Let Setup reformat the partition. When Boot Camp does it, that was giving me the disk error.

By the way... I am posting this via XP. The drivers installed and the aluminum keyboard and the Mighty Mouse now works.

It's weird, though, that I am allowed onto our network without being asked to log-in and without being quarantined until I install Norton and Cisco's CleanAccess Agent. All Windows machines have to do that to be given unrestricted access to the network.
