Yep, thats the one. I still remember when she put the old 486 with win95 out of service with the glass of orange juice she sat in the fancy retractable cup holder (cd tray). She actually used this computer before for a year or so. I gave it to her when I built the Intel core 2 duo system. She used it after that till the mobo went out. Then I bought the little hp with the dual core amd in it running vista home premium. After about 6 months of that now there's two things that she can't wait for that she couldn't have learned from dad. 1. She can't wait to have XP back instead of vista. 2. She can't wait to have her intel machine back so she can play the sims at better than 10 FPS.

It's crazy how much Sims bogs down a decent system.

Actually its probably the integrated graphics that can't handle the load. The only option is to install a "Low Profile" video card into the system. There isn't much of a selection out there for that.
Rather just get the older system up and running again.

Jenni has an AMD64 that I have OC'd to about 1.8GHz and the same graphics card that I have, an Nvidia 7600 and it still bogs down. Once I get out of debt I'm upgraging both of our systems.

Since I haven't been using my main computer much at all, I just got a usb to sata/ide 2.5/3.5 adapter to access several hard drives totaling about 800GB. Should also come in handy when I'm fixing computers.
I still plan on getting a TB usb drive. No use in wasting 800GB of space though.

Speaking of new hardware I got the grace wifi radio not too long ago and love it Still have to read the manual but most of its pretty easy I scanned for my network and put in my password and was listening to stations all over I made a reciva account and put in some of my own streams and podcast rss feeds as well as radio stations Only bad thing is the clock gets reset if I unplug it or it loses power and a 5 limit preset limit but the sound is really rich

This is super quiet The only noise I hear is starting it up I cant wait to see how much space I reclaimed for the pvr I had 24 hours of free space before the move I'm gonna check again after the move

I want a new external drive. I'm looking at possibly getting a firewire one in the future. It's not in the budget right now. I use LaCie Quad 500 I like it so much I now have 3. It can cannect by USB, Firewire 400, Firewire 800 or eSATA and comes with a cable for each
