What was the first song you remember listening to?

For me it was the Beatles (she loves you)

I was eight or nine and I jut got a motorolla transistor radio. It was about 6 inches by 4 inches. I thought it was relly cool until they made them smaller.

I am having fun thinking about you sitting around an old radio with your family listening to Dr. Demento. Just like my Dad used to talk about how he listened to The Lone Ranger and other shows. It would have been a hoot if we could go back and play that for them.

Oh, and now I know why you are so demented

I'm sure it wasn't the first song I listened to but it's the first song I remember loving and singing along to.

Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head by John Farnham. I didn't hear the BJ Thomas version until years later.
