Oh this day is just getting worse and worse

because I'm taking an online class, I have to have my book for the class ordered from South Bend, but because the book is already paid for thru Financial Aid, I have to somehow figure out a way of sending a FAX of this order to the campus bookstore in south bend, with my siguature on it authorizing this payment.

I don't know why I just can't mail it, my class isn't until the 23rd anyway, stupid bookstore!

like anyone really has a FAX machine in their house if they have Comcast, or some other broadband internet provider in their home! sheesh!!

like..get with it this is the 21st Century... FAX..sheesh!! (sighs)

makes me wish I had Vonage where u can get a separate fax line.I don't even have a scanner to send a FAX with, much of less a dialup connection, like this is even going to work!

Ask your local Library. Tell them the situation and ask if they have a fax machine you can use Libraries are really helpful and should have one fax machine somewhere

heh, sad part is, I don't even know how to use one. heh.

may have to speak to my living skills trainer about that one, but I am sure someone from the library can help me with that.

Basically to use a fax machine, you load the paper in you want to fax, type the fax number you want to send on the keypad, then hit send fax

Make sure if it is long distance to use a 1 when dialing and if you need to dial the area code for local numbers like us, then the fax number should include the area code

well, I got it done after all. I had susan take me to the Warsaw campus, and asked the lady in the bookstore, and she faxed it over for me.

I just think its strange the bookstore here in town didn't have the book for the class taken online from an instructor that is here in town (shrugs) LOL just seems kinda funny to me.

like ok, u can't have the book sent to the Warsaw campus and pick it up there, no u gotta order the book from another city, pay shipping charges to have it mailed to u, and pay tax on top of that, its ridiculous.

but oh well its done now

Same here, but it's not hooked up.

My printer faxes and we don't have a phone line going to it at the moment.

thanks guys but I got it. One of these days I'll figure out how to send a FAX without an analog phone line and cable internet, I'm sure there is a way I'm missing. night everyone.

There are services that allow you to fax from your computer. The amount of time you would use it makes it unrealistic.

I use a fax from time to time My printer is a combo fax/scanner/copier/printer

Not only did he fax it, he could scan and print it.. Though the most troubling is that he also had the ability to copy it.

You have to close the lid to scan... I imagine it would hurt some.

yeah but how do you fax over cable? lol
We got that Comcast digital voice thing, and there is no way to fax thru it, at least from what comcast was telling us anyway. oh well.
