Your not going to notice a lot of change with snow leopard either way, but yes you will still notice some differences but they won't be immediately apparent. I'm still noticing subtle changes.

I have a 32GB partition for XP. I am formatting it back to Mac OS Extended and I'll use it to back up my music, documents, etc. I'll wait until the weekend and then wipe my OS X partition and do the clean install.

Smooth sailing. It took about 30-35 minutes to install. Now I'm putting Humpty Dumpty back together again.

My RAM is already maxed out--or at least I think 4GB is maxed out.

Safari got really slow and then crashed on me the first night I had the white kitty installed. Otherwise, I don't see much difference, good or bad. Though, it boots a lot faster.
