So you played golf ? I quit playing because it got expensive when I couldnt walk 18 holes anymore as my left knee couldnt make it , and then the SLOW golfers took all the fun out of it took 5-7 hours to play a round and thats way to much time !

No I haven't played golf really....just on a Gameboy. I meant that I'd heard the reasons from males before. My dad started golf a couple of years ago and he and a mate just stroll through 9 holes and enjoy a couple of hours in the fresh air, no pressure to win or anything. Dad was quite proud of his record high scores at first.

I actually got good , I played everyday for 20 years , was down to a 5 handicap , that means I could go to any golf course and shoot 5 over par . or mid 70's but the long days just took the fun right out of it , I have player twice in 4 years . and I have $2500 dollars in 14 golf clubs I play and sitting in the closet collecting dust

My hubby played every Wednesday afternoon-Saturday morning. When walking got to much for him-he got a cart. Sons have his clubs and I sold cart because they don't play.

Good golf clubs cost a small fortune My dad knows a guy who is heavily in to golf and I could not believe his stories of how people try ripping off golf clubs that were on display in his store

They sure are Trall , My driver cost me $400 bucks , its called a bi-matrix, the shaft is half graphite and half steel , with an over sized titanium head My main sticks ( clubs ) were $1100 and my putter was $250 , plus the fairway woods , bag, balls , ect........... gets expensive . I have another set that I had hand built to my specks that are called Stainless steel forged steel blades ( a true PRO club ) and just 8 were $1200 bucks

Well that certainly does bring back some memories for me too. I can still hear the old timers back then. " those crazy kids! you would think they would have someting better to do" " you know they will never amount to anything"
