I don't know what I saw the other night but when I was driving home from work on I-24 I saw a very big and bright light appear and go streaking across the sky and into the horrizon. It was much bigger than a normal shooting star and it actually moved alot slower than one. Shooting stars move so fast that they actually streak but this one didn't streak. It stayed a single big spot in the sky leaving no trail behind it. And like I said, it didn't move anywhere near as fast as a shooting star but it moved much faster than any jet ever could. So I don't know if it was a slow moving meteor or something more.

Is it possible you saw the ISS? It looks like a large white dot. That is faster than an airplane but not streaking.

I don't know. I always thought that the ISS was kind of a small dot. This looked like it was in the atmosphere and it just appeared in my field of view ahead of me. It didn't come from one end of the sky and shoot over to the other. It started in the middle of the sky and went over the treeline.

It was a rod. They're all over the place!!!

Tell you the truth, I'd like to see the swamp gas phenomenon too. Apparently that is almost as rare as the UFO event it's supposed to explain...

My son and I used to sit and track satelites. I was shocked to find that there were so many.

I don't know what Wes saw but, I bet that shortly a lot of people are going to be seeing all kinds of things that they can't explain it the skies. The number of UFO reports has gone way up and there are more and more each week. We are leading up to the big show. Contact will be very soon. They are just getting us used to seeing them so when it does happen, it won't be such a shock.

Maybe they are coming in 2012

I don't know what I saw either but at least it wasn't making any sudden course changes. It went in a perfectly straight line. If it made a right angle turn with no slowing down then it would've been a definite UFO but this could've been anything. It just seems a bit strange to me because it was moving much too slow for what I think a meteor should go at.

I still remember seeing something wacky one summer afternoon years back.

Basically it looked like a long spear gliding about twice the speed as you'd see a high altitude jet fly at. It was massively long but thin. You could see that it was divided into multiple sections and each one was a slightly different color, but they were all blue against the blue sky. So it was almost invisible. I could see it better by looking around it than by looking right at it. It flew off over the horizon followed by two military jets. Wild show from my front yard.

The more reports I read the more that there seem to be military jets following them.

This puts a lot of support into the concept that we have reverse engineered a craft or that there is a co operative agreement going on between us and them, who ever that may be.

Soon there will be someone or a group and they will have a good video camera and record an event and it will be indisputable and the government will have to come clean. I just wish it would happen today so we could move forward.
