To nobody in particular and everybody in general:
So, the new Doctor.....what do you think? I'll admit I liked Eccleston better, in fact he's my #2 favorite Doctor behind Tom Baker. Next would come Peter Davisson, and right now I'm putting Tennant at #4.

That's one of the things I liked about Eccleston....he had a very apparent, close-to-the-surface dark, tortured side. Even that big grin you could see the sadness behind a lot of the time. Besides, I liked when people called him "big ears"!

OMG last nights new episode!
Sara Jane Smith!
K9!
I know it was a setup to a possible spinoff, but still! Quite interesting the dynamic at first between Sarah Jane and Rose (as I heard it put "the current and the ex") and Sarah Jane and the Doctor. Sarah Jane apparently carried lots of baggage from her days traveling with the Doctor, and the "immortality factor" where relationships are concerned weighs quite heavily on him. So good to see Eliabeth Sladen again. It so happens I recorded an old "Who" episode (Jon Pertwee/Third Doctor) where Sarah Jane first appeared, and I put last night's ep on the tape right afterwards. Seeing K9 ("maaastah?") again was just a treat as well.

It was so nice to see Sarah on an episode of Doctor Who again and she aged quite well Each time I see Sarah , I think of her as the girl from "The Hand of Fear" episode. Also I love all the spin offs created by the popularity of the new doctor who series Torchwood will air in 2 days on the BBC, then season 3 of Doctor Who will air on Christmas, and finally the Sarah Jane Smith episodes are slated to air next year some time. When I say air, I mean air in the UK , but still , it's great to see the Doctor Who series bloom like that and no longer be uncool to watch it I am glad they updated the series and actually stopped using rubber monsters and got such great actors to portray the characters. OH, if your a BBC America watcher and can't get the Sci-Fi channel to watch the Doctor, my Holiday Preview 2006 issue of BBC America Shop had an ad on page 26 that the new doctor who season one will air on November 21, 2006 at 10 PM. That will be the first season of the series where the Doctor meets Rose for the first time.

The 2 hour season finale of Doctor Who will be on the scifi channel on the 22nd of December If you only watch one episode of Doctor Who this year, this is the time to watch it as 2 enemies of the Doctor are in one episode The Cybermen and the Daleks!!! What can be better! http://www.scifi.com/doctorwho/
