I only caught the ending in passing and it intrigued me enough to seek out the entire episode. 'For a variety of reasons' is why I found it so touching. After getting the context, even more so.

Cold Case started off really well, but it seems to be loosing steam. My favorite episodes are the one from the first season that dealt with a hate crime against a young gay man in the sixites, the two that involved Lily and the serial killer, the show where the terminally ill man buries teenage boys alive, the one about the girl dying in the frat house fire, and the episode about the murder of an autistic boy's parents.
WORST ENDING EVER. First Curtis (though honestly, he was being annoying this season) and then not 2 minutes later, A NUKE. Nice editing job though

Thanks. Yes, a very bad ending indeed. I really liked Curtis but they changed his character in a way he was rather annoying and thus could get rid of him without too many people saying anything.
Interesting sketch. Why is he making out with the tree? Was the nuke a symbolic image of his making out? Instead of seeing fireworks when he kisses it, he sees a nuke blow up?

I don't know anything about making out with a tree. Well that's not entirely true.. That one year when I was just learning about such things, the Christmas Tree hurt me in a way I cannot say. The first few jolts I saw fireworks, I thought it was just great. Then it, well most say fell, but I know it jumped on me on purpose just to suffocate me. Its branches strangling me, yet the jolts continued. It was like electricity was coursing through my veins. The lights on the tree was blinking, the entire room was flashing. It was an amazing night but soon the tree caught fire and I could only wonder why my feet felt warm, then my legs and then.. Luckily I was able to get free before I was totally lost that night.
For those who do not know, the same ones who must be really messed up to believe the previous or think I am delusional for saying it.. All that was a fabrication. Never did a tree fall on me, nor was I shocked and a tree never caught fire before while in my presence. Though I shall be cautious around Christmas trees as I just know they are waiting to lunge at me, shock and strangle me. Yet I'm always prepared for the worst. I always have a way out and by that I mean, just in case it does happen and the tree attacks; I will have someone to shield me from it and if necessary throw in the "line of fire" so to speak to save myself.
So if you happen upon me and there is a Christmas tree in the room, and you don't see me looking suspiciously at someone else then you are my shield.
Hah, that is all so crazy I can't believe it was actually written by me. Oh, I know. The Christmas tree made me do it.

I have seen this story on "When Trees Attack" you are lucky to be alive Kris, Once I went to a crime scene. it was a Scotch Pine. It was horrifing to say the least. That guy even though he survived, he is in ICU under the care of an aborist and will never be able to drink gin & Tonics again.

I'm working on full song-length videos for O.A.T.H.'s concerts. Now that I have Adobe Premeire it's going very nicely. I am very very impressed with that program and I'm getting used to how it works. I am uploading a low-res version of the first half of the song to see what they think and if it's along the lines of what they're looking for. I'll post a link to it here as well so you can see what I've been up to.

I tried my best to sync it with the music. The original file looked a lot better, dang youtube and their compression.
Still, there are certain parts that I found quite funny to sync. Such as Doom inside the circle of fire, raising his hands shooting electricity and having the music sync with that as if he was the conductor of the music. Or when the door of the chamber opens and there is a loud bang and music suggesting danger is playing.. The part I liked best was when Doom looks at Sue Storm, and the music was just splendid for that moment.

Here's a video of Loretta Lynn, her sister Crystal Gail and her daughter Cissy Lynn and some dude singing a song back in the 80's. I post this because Cissy Lynn owns and runs a store in Hurricane Mills, TN that I deliver to every Wednesday and I get to talk to her. She is very friendly and cool and a very down to earth person. I think it's funny when country music fans come into the store when I'm there and they are just fawning over Cissy Lynn and asking question after question. I'm not a country music fan but I respect where they came from and how they struggled to make it with their talents and the legends they've become and I respect even more how none of them let that fame go to their heads. Every week I get her autograph when she signs the check to pay for all the drinks I bring into the store. She's the blond on the right.

We just got rid of the problem We have a crawl space so I'm sure we may encounter ants again but we have had a year battle with a huge colony and they left when he did. The darn things were even biting. I think I've seen one ant since he left and it was dead.
