No, they're not. Since they have different purposes, I do not see how they can be compared.

They can be compared in their use of levers. \:\)

I'm dense... How can a staplegun be used as a lever?

The staplegun uses a lever just like scissors. Only difference is that the staplegun has a spring in it to collect the force exerted by using the properties of a lever (handle) and focuses it on a latch which once tripped with a predefined amount of pressure then centers the force on the staple and thus powerfully thrusting it out. \:p

Which is why I said scissors are no match for a staplegun. Which while the same force might be exerted, the staplegun offers up a much more spectacular reaction.

Just messing with you.. \:p

QotM:
Talking on the phone while walking around outside in freezing temperatures barefoot can prove to have short term lingering effects and draw unwanted attention from neighbors or casual passersby.

Is that a quote or more of a random thought? \:\)

People on the phone are funny while you laugh at them until they show up at your door with food demanding money. \:p

To be young is to be innocent. Time is a reflection of progression through space. Older we get, the less innocent. The further and farther we go.

Are you saying that those of us who are older are in fact more evil because of our years? \:p

Or that as one gets older the more they understand and come to accept. A reality that those young are too naive to believe. The older we get the easier it is to lose hope and let our burdens get the best of us. The more we understand the less we believe in those magical things. Free from such burdens, magic exists within those who are young and innocent. They feel as if they will live forever. There are no ulterior motives and everything is one way or another, black or white.

Dammit! Now I have nothing to argue with seeing as I can't disagree with pretty much all of what you said. \:p
The only flaw in your post is that there are plenty of us who believe in magic....I even think there could be fairies at the bottom of my garden. \:\)

I didn't say they believe in no magic just as you get older, magic becomes less and less.

So while you think fairies are at the bottom of your garden now, when you were young the fairies were probably accompanied by gnomes who you now know one as Gweeptish, who would often throw elaborate parties and bury the fairies and wait for the witches of the house to save them.

How did you know? \:o I knew there was a reason Gweep was familiar. \:\)

QM:

Controlling everything is impossible. For control transitions from a sort of fluid state to a gaseous state and only rarely a temporary solid that you can somewhat morph. Once that insight is attained it becomes clear that control is never certain and can just as easily slip out of your hands the next moment. While one has the perception of control they should embrace it while it lasts because such moments of illusion are far in between.

While I can, you have a position of power here to be able to change it and thus control what is said. Though that is merely restrained here and such powers of control do not encompass the entire internet or thought. \:p
