The boy has a solemn and grimace way about him, as if to suggest something more, something that adds to the gravity of the situation that only makes it ever that much worse. His words but a whisper, a willful and precise act. Each muttering while not evidently making sense are twisted upon pain and fear of the unknown. The damage is too far gone to untangle and reconcile. The boy is motionlessly sitting on the ground in the darkened night only to be illuminated by the street lamp he is leaning up against. The air freshly cold and so very sharp to the senses, a bitter reflection that reverberates down his spine. Looking on, the boy watches as car after car, people pass him by without even a second glance. Not that he really expected anyone to notice, they never did before. Though deep down he was hoping that perhaps, just perhaps his blood stained hands and the ever increasing pool of blood that surrounded him would draw the attention of some passerby. Even if it was too late for help, at least he wouldn't die alone.

For it was a mortal wound and he was too tired to call out. It seemed to be getting darker, the boy was too tired to look up and could only wonder if the light that had illuminated him thus far had at this precise moment blown. The boy sat unseen and unheard until daybreak. He was found with that same grimace look on his face. His eyes blank and cold, staring off into the distance. People could only look helplessly at the body as there was nothing that could be done.

A passerby asked the gathering crowd, "What's his name?". Everyone looked on with silence.

Too long to be random

Even though it is long, I would classify it as random. He seems to have these rather expanded thoughts pop into his head. They do show a bit of a trend in his thoughts, but they don't seem to be connected and organized.

I think they have a name for that

What started this random thought was three random words. Solemn, grimace and boy. In that order. I have no idea why these three words just randomly popped into my head. As soon as I thought about the meaning of these three words together, an image popped into my head of a boy leaning up against a street lamp post, hurt and struggling to call out to people while no one saw him or rather payed attention. I could see his face so clearly, and seem to sense his thoughts.

After that the image seemed to become words and I couldn't help myself. Whatever you call that I do not know. For me it is about as random as possible. Perhaps a little long but I've had quite a few pretty long random thoughts, though I rarely write them down. Maybe I should create a "KLRT Thread"
