(shrugs) what happens if you don't aquire enough REM sleep after so long? do you start halousinating? A fan could just as easily transform into a big windmill as someone who is invisible to everyone else talks to you. Of course that is at the later stages. I think in the beginning you see shadows out of the corner of your eye. Then it gets worse as the shadows move independent of other stuff around you. Then it gets worse.. After that I'm not sure as the other stuff was too freaky even for me to endure.
