Just taken today. 10F and the bubbles from the windmill keep the pond from freezing entirely. Lisa Better Half Registered: 10/27/03 Posts: 723 Loc: Defiance, Ohio	Sadie went to the doctor for a ear infection last week and just by chance a little running drainage from her eye. Now she dosn't cry about the ear, only her eyes the right one on top and bottum have pus covered ulcers on the inside of the eye lid and drainage like crazy from the top of the lids and the other eye is just starting on the top. I washed her eyes out and put her ointment on and she cried the whole time. Blood and pus covered 2 wash cloths. She cried so bad Lucy came to see what was going on and started barking at me. I cant wait until our return to the doctors tommarow morning. I hope they keep her a while tommarow and fix her up. _________________________

Lisa Better Half Registered: 10/27/03 Posts: 723 Loc: Defiance, Ohio	Went to the vet this morning. Sadie has a staph and strep infection in the glands inside the eye lids. Said its not very common. The vet went to her notes about it to show me the treatment and explaination. New ointment for the eye and antibiotics and steroids to treat. They shaved the hair around her eyes and with the lids all swollen she looks like a bug eyed little dog. Have to go back monday. _________________________
