Yes, it does make you weird. At least, by my standards, it makes your weird. I never have thoughts of people in odd costumes. I have always found people wearing strange costumes funny. Which was why all the plays interested me. Though, seeing them on the street wearing it without a purpose.. I tried to go to the other side, to stay away. Crazy costumes, not so funny. Costumes that invoked thought and conversation, I've always liked. So, that's why you wanted me to wear that Statue of Liberty costume with the green, glittering body paint!

My mind is rarely ever stimulated by visuals, though there a few are exceptions to that. Sounds, tastes, and smells are more interesting, to me, than what I see. Visuals are more dominant with me. Sounds and tastes/smells add to the complex view, but rarely overtake it unless there is no view to in which to associate. Which isn't surprising since sight and a lack of sound was all I had in my younger years.

You might be joking, but that would be totally awesome.

I should probably be thankful, as I usually find people who use such culturally enriched terms to be rather restrictive in their vocabulary. I on the other hand enjoy knowing all forms of a word, even if I do not use them and they are superfluous. A little quirk of mine. I rarely ever use slang. Only recently did I use, for the first time, the word cool to describe something interesting.

Would curses be considered slang? If so, I do use those quite a bit. Indeed, as they are the most popular slang. I rarely use even the more innocent bad slang words unless I'm really angry.

There are only two that I won't use. The rest are used quite frequently. I used to consider it a flaw, but now I think that it's just part of my rather colorful personality. I still find it quite vulgar and that it reflects poorly on the speaker, as if they have a lack of self control. Which goes doubly for myself when I use such words.

It reflects badly on the speaker to a degree but it certainly doesn't denote intelligence or lack thereof. I know some incredibly well spoken people who swear with those they feel comfortable around but most others would never guess. I've had customers swear and then apologise to me and after I assure them I'm not offended I'll sometimes tell them I use the same word....the few I've told that have been shocked for I am a well mannered and well behaved person when dealing with customers. Swearing in anger may be about a lack of self control but the rest of the time it's more about habit and company. Anyway, who said that self control is always a good thing?
