I just thought I would create a new thread asking people what they are reading now

Currently I am reading a Star Trek: S.C.E. (Starfleet Corps of Engineers) book called the demon book 1 - Star Trek: S.C.E. #35: The Demon, Book 1

I am reading it on my Palm Tungsten E2 using the new eReader software

So what are you reading now?

Right now? The computer screen.
Truthfully I haven't read a book in quite a while, newspapers galore and magazines are all I indulge in at the moment. The last book I attempted to read was the Bill Clinton autobiography, kept getting interrupted so I gave up.

Feel free to suggest a book you think others may like I am always on the lookout for a good read

The Autobiography of Chuck Yeager is an excellent read , even though its been years since i read it .

Just finished Phantom by Terry Goodkind. A serise of the Sword of Truth.

24 Declassified: Veto Power by John Whitman. A very very good EU book for 24

I'm also reading The Solitaire Mystery by well, someone, for English class. It's not as bad as I expected it to be...

Any thing by Clive Cussler.

Just found a copy of A Canticle for Liebowitz by Walter Miller this morning...I need ot read it for school and so I've been spending the weekend searching in the basement for my father's edition of it so I don't need to buy it.
From what I hear, it's an extremely good novel. So I'm excited to start it.

I started to read "The Book of Lost Things" on my Palm Ereader as the small tidbits I read about it reminded of the book "Magic Kingdom - Sold"

So far I am at the point where the books are calling to him after his mom's death

I'm stopping by Borders and picking up Children of the Mind by Orson Scott Card after work.

I bought 2 books by jack McDevitt called "Chindi" and "Omega" that piqued my interest Also I finally bought Stephen King's "Cell" book as well

I finished Children of the Mind. I need to reread this thread and get ideas from Trallyus since I don't have any unread books in my pile.

At the moment I'm redoing Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe and Larry Niven's Ringworlds

I'm hoping to make it to the library someday soon.

Just picked it up at the local school. They are having a book fair this week. Short book with great cat pictures. The little blurbs of advice are great. My favorite is: "If you can't be the prom queen, be the drama queen".

Sounds cute.

Really good book so far

There is a used book store going out of business here and they have a 75% off sale going on. We checked it out yesterday and found that they were also selling boxes of books. I bought a box of 110 sci-fi/fantasy books for $35 to put up on Ebay or Half.com.

I'm almost halfway through Sylvia by Bryce Courtney. So far so good.

I brought " Team of Rivals" by Doris Kearns Goodwin to work. I've been hoping to get a chance to start it. We will see if I do. Snow is forecasted today so there may be alot of accidents.

I'm thinking of starting on "The Golden Compass" by Philip Pullman.It's been sitting on my coffee table for a month, waiting to be cracked open.

I need to finish Stephen King's Cell book when I get time

I finished Sylvia and don't quiet know what I think of it. It was interesting and pretty well written but I think I was looking for something as good as Bryce Courtney's other stuff.
Power Of One is just hard to top.

So far Cell is pretty good Some sort of signal that attacks cell phones turns all cell phone owners crazy and only a few are left with their mind intact

There always has to be some normal people to make the loonies stand out in the story.

I just finished my last hard back book my wife got me for Christmas , By Robert B. Parker .
Read it yesterday , I hate to finish a good book , feels like when your finished you are loosing a good friend .

I feel the same way. Now I know I am not crazy.
