No, but I just looked it up. I'm going to check them out next time I'm at the book store.

The series has what you're looking for. Female hero, vampires, witches, demons, weird romance

Just my kind of stuff. I've started on Witch Blood by Anya Bast. It's actually the 2nd in a series, but it seems to stand alone without reading the first one.

I also finished The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. It's the first in a series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I believe it's aimed at the Harry Potter crowd, but the half bloods are children of Greek gods.

I'm on the fifth book and its the best. The books aren't that well written but the audio books are awesome and have a really good reader.

I bought "I Heard That Song Before" by Mary Higgins Clark the other day. I hope to start it this weekend. At one point, I was all caught up with her books. Now I'm WAY behind. She needs to slow down ... LOL.

Last night I read two short stories smile They were "To Serve Man" and "Time Shards"

They made tv shows about each smile One was a famous twilight zone episode while the other one was an x-files episode called the Lazurus bowl smile

It was about the bowl that could raise the dead with the voice of Jesus recorded in the grooves of the bowl smile

I'm attempting to read William Kennedy's Roscoe, it's about the political machine in Albany, NY way back.

If anyone is interested in learning about the Albany political machine that was once the greatest to rival the Daley machine in Chicago, here's a link to Amazon to give suggestions on titles:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=william+kennedy+and+albany&x=15&y=19

Happy reading.
