Since alot of people in the entertainment industry are ostrisizing the Dixie Chicks for speaking out about the President when they did and they are not getting much air time, they are forgoing normal routes like tv and radio and turning to the power of the web to get their music out.

I hope the industry finally wises up and stops treating the chicks like lepers as now they are not the only ones thinking someone was wrong about the war tactics used.

Dixie Chicks said they were ashamed to be from the same state as Bush. For that MINOR comment they got death threats. People who elected a stupid man who lies to America and is responsible for the deaths of thousands made death threats. You ask me, the people who made those threats, including one person here who "jokingly" asked for a sniper gun, are FAR worse.

No need for any threats as you have done a far worse disservice to yourself. To categorize Spray in to that group of people who actually contacted the Dixie Chicks and made death threats is absurd. If he had called them up and personally threatened them then I would be in agreement with you. But he did no such thing.

About the whole Bush ordeal. People are people. They are stupid at times, they can and do stupid things. Whether or not electing him President was a stupid act isn't up for debate to the citizens who voted and got him elected. As if it were, he wouldn't have been President. Twice.

He is solely responsible for the deaths? He is responsible yes, but also are the people who voted for him. The ones who didn't vote for anyone are responsible. We are all responsible for the deaths of thousands. Not just him. How are we responsible? We could have voiced our opinions more, walked on DC. Done anything, anything more.

I watched bits and pieces of a lot of the concerts and videos and my favourite was Nickelback's clip for If Everyone Cared. I don't care how many times I hear that song I just love it.

I absolutely loath the 19k of my dialup through the Nextel. But on the other hand, I'd only be online during my 1.5 day weekends.

Dial up could be better if they allowed it to. But they don't.

It's more then likely your lines or you have a cheap software based modem that is limiting you to 19k harold If your not getting at least 28.8 k then its most likely your modem and not the lines. if you hear pops and screeching on your phone when calling voice then most likely its the phone lines.

I suggest you buy a hardware based modem if you have the extra money and line noise is no issue as it should squeeze some extra k out of the modem by taking some strain off the processor
