Dizzy Goddess Extraordinaire Registered: 01/14/05 Posts: 21264 Loc: North Queensland, Australia	I think I`m as close to heaven as a Queenslander can get. State of Origin football is the toughest of all games and tonight we kicked New South Wales` butts so hard they will think twice about setting foot into our state again. From the time the team ran onto the field with the roar of the crowd behind them you could tell it was something special. Everytime the Queensland side ran the ball the crowd chanted Queenslander Queenslander! It was a magic game, it`s just a pity there are only 3 Origin matches a year. They take the best players from across the league and they play for the pride of their home state. If you get the chance to watch a match on any of your cable networks watch it. Even though you won`t understand a thing you`ll see the toughest men face off with no shoulder pads, no helmets...just pure guts. Oh and for the ladies....they wear shorts. It sucked if you got tackled as being on the bottom of the dog pile sucked .......LOL

Ever see those frisbee championships on the old Wide World of Sports ??
