I saw it last night with a couple of friends, after watching the first two on DVD together. Well, I dunno what to say about it.

I really enjoyed it, but was honestly very disappointed with a couple of things and how they were handled. Full of great SFX and acting (and Beast is AWESOME!) But...the couple bits of story that I didn't like were too big not to be dismissed entirely.

So see it, but if not for the "X-Men Saturday" that my friends and I did, I probably could have waited until the DVD release, even though the movie is really good.

I'm gonna check it out on Monday or Tuesday.

I enjoyed, though it wasn't near as good as the first two. I miss Bryan Singer.

Rogue did nothing in the movie, so boo. Beast was a wonderful addition. Kelsey Grammer. Go figure. The ending was left a bit open, just in case. The explanation for the existence of the Phoenix entity was fine to me, given that the movies never introduced the Shi'ar and the space stuff. She didn't do much, but at least one gets an idea that the Phoenix is a destroyer of planets.

Did you stay through the credits? I didn't and found out later there is an extra scene that is worth seeing. So Wesley, when you go, try to sit through the credits.

Yeah, a friend of mine in England said to stay through the credits.
It was REALLY intreguing.

Hey you sent me pictures.. I didn't.. Oh wait I did put them in there didn't I? Oh umm. Like, just think about this. The paper is family friendly for the most part so if the pictures aren't family friendly I can't put them in there now can I? I'm not suggesting anything. Honest.

I have a resilliant constitution. I am almost etirely positive that I would either need no recovery or that the recovery would be very quick. Try me.

I just got back from seeing it and it was very very good. Yes, kinda anti-climactic but still, very damned good. I don't really want to ruin the ending so if anyone wants to know the extra scene at the end of the credits PM me and I'll tell you.

The thing I love about the X-Men movies and movies or stories like it is how they take a concept and then show how it would impact society as a whole. It's not like Superman where they're like, "OK we got a dude that flies. What's for dinner?" They actually display how it would shake the very foundation of society and it also shows the lengths that governments would go to, or try to go to, to protect their vested interests and their status quo. Also how regular people would react by discriminating against them. How parents would look at their kids differently and try to force a cure onto them or alienate them from the family.

It's not just about taking a concept and seeing how many special fx they can wrap around it. IF this was a real thing then what happened in the movies would be similar to what would happen in real life. Maybe worse.

Went to see it today and really enjoyed it. Hugh Jackman got his shirt off so I`m happy.
