I looked... Couldn't find any other posts... So I'm starting one... My friend, an ex-dj (the scratchy kind... that reminds me I need to put his URL in my sig too, since I made the site, or did the 'hard stuff' haha, coding...) got me into vinyl. Okay so I had some records before that got lost in the move to Ohio. Starting my record collection up again... I love it! I love it so much more than cds or mp3s or anything else.... am I the only one? Am I a complete dork for posting this on a total techie board? But the sound! THE SOUND! I mean its so bad I spend my saturdays in a record store HANGING OUT! hahaha! There must be more of you out there...

I think this belongs better in the music than the hobbies don't you? I don't know... I'm not good at fitting things into topics so this is where I shall plop it hahaha...

Records don`t do it for me anymore at all. Sorry. It takes me back for a minute or two and then I just can`t help thinking about the bad quality of the sound.

I think have 2 or 3 Albums left .
I sure wish I had all the 45's I had when I was a kid back in the late 60's early 70's , I think between my sister and I we had like 400-500 45's
Plus our small portable record players , they only played the 45's.

It doesn't sound bad! Not if your turntable, stereo system and most importantly RECORDS are taken care of well. For instance, if I whip out Licensed to Ill on vinyl, and Greg (if this car was still running) pulled his fancy ass car up and stuck the cd in.... well, I'd win... Bad comparison but I'm just pissy about the fact that its the only album of the Beastie Boys they had at L'eighties night (isnt that HORRIBLE???) it sounded like crap because they were 'spinning' CDS!!!!! Haha yeah, at l'eighties night they were spinning 80's comp cd's hahahahaha.... and crappy ones too. The only violent femmes song they had was blister in the sun. That's horrible! Sorry for the lack of capitalization, this space key is going bad...
