This one is already done. Saved the variations on how I got to where I ended up.

Not sure what I was doing here, but I did write trallyus off to the side in a very tatooish/gothic way which I obviously didn't include here.



I keep seeing the enterprise from above. Or an indian arrow head.

Some kind of cross.


But definitely too many squares.

So I add an odd shaped circle.


Rotated it 90 degrees.

I made it more interesting. The white etching on the black caught my eye. Something I hadn't done before.


Thus begins the reduction.

Reshaped it into a you guessed it.. Square.


I was really torn between this one and the last one. I liked the strange angles at the ends of the black bars and was able to keep in that white on black etching. The odd angles on the ends might have stuck out because they had pieces not attached to anything. If you look close you can see the whole end is unattached covering the whole etching thing. Thus the next one is just a alter variation. I like both but I could stop here.

Played around with it some more. Not done yet though. I'll have to take another look later on and see what I want to do with it.


Mostly edited the center and cleaned up that area a bit. Also detached the top and bottom to break that big square look. I just liked that open look too much to do away with it and so I compromised.


Just played around with the contrast of bar colors. If the surrounding color is white, the line becomes black. And vice versa to make it stick out some more.

You try creating 3d in ms paint.

My attempt at something.

Photoshop has its time and place. It is however not something I use to create doodles. I either once in a while draw by hand or mostly use ms paint. It offers a very limited set of tools and from that I get what I get, not because of a cool filter or new tool I load. Rather quite a bit of time, changing individual blocks.

If you would like to try yourself. Load up ms paint. If you have it anyway. Then on the menu bar click View:Zoom:Custom to 800% and choose the paint brush and select the smallest block possible. Then make a small pattern or any group of blocks. Then from the menu bar click View:Zoom:Normal Size to zoom out an see what it looks like.

I cheat though. I make an edit on one corner and copy and paste that to the other corners.. Really I could post one corner and that would be everything. If you put them together then you get the whole picture.
