He has my vote. He is tough on crime and I like that. He is also a media hound.

The thing is when I was little and in grade school , you LOST all Human rights when you wen to jail !
If you cannot abide by the rules in society , why the HELL do you think you deserve to have them in Jail/Prison ???

This is actually happens.I agree but unfortunately there are people out there that will claim this treatment is unhumane. I think if it works it should be continued. It would be interesting to find out the recidivism rate of past inmates.

Of course, when it begins with "This was sent to me this morning" it's spam on a mass-mailing level. The bullet arrows on each line give this away as well. So being that this is more than likely spam that's been passed on and and with the urging to "send this to everyone you know!!!" then the chances of it being real are slim.

There is a camp like this including the pink underwear. I'm not sure where, but I heard this before. I believe in one of the publications here at work or court tv. Due to the format of the email its easy to believe its a fabricated story.

They used to have a webcam or several in the jail. Looks like they were taken down.

Maricopa County is no joke. We had a PO from there that worked at our place for a while (to live with her mom). She used to tell us all the stuff that would happen. The details may be suspect, but the spirit of the e-mail seems genuine.

I don't post spam outside of the spam thread. The person who sent this to me is extremely reliable. That is why I decided to share it. I have also seen this sheriff on one of the news shows Ala 60 minutes. I had no intention of starting a controversy. I'm sorry for any misunderstanding I may have caused.

I agree, that's why I shared my story, I guess I was answering Wesley. Sorry I linked onto you. I know Maricopa, and I can tell you, my Dept is NO Maricopa, LOL.

Sorry, it just looked and sounded like something that was BC'd and CC'd to hundreds of people. But I do agree with what was said in it. They don't deserve comforts. Since when did Basic Human Rights include cable TV? Why not give them cheese and fine wines.
