I just decided to test this out tonight as I remembered it mentioned elsewhere It allows you to run any application as a service

I like that you can set a start time and an end time as I set my folding@home not to run between the hours of 2 am to 5 am so my beyond tv will have no problems generating its smart chapters

I can hardly wait to see if I set it up righ

now that is cool, I could setup e-mule to download my torrents until 4am, its too bad e-mule doesn't have a way to shutdown the compuuter when the last torrent is done downloading, then I could leave the computer on while I'm at work and have it shutdown when its done. man that would be neat

Can you set up each program to run on certain CPUs if you have Hyperthreading or dual cores? I get tired of starting up both folding sessions and then manually assigning each session to its own CPU.

Firedaemon was updated today They have a new graphic now I see and some other improvements
