I love collecting stamps when I have the money

I used to collect used stamps when I was younger.

I did too harold We would go to garage sales way back when and someone would usally end up selling a box of stamps and a stamp album for cheap and I would buy them

I guess alot of people ended up licking the stamps or taping them in the album when they could rather then buy stamp hinges

Anymore I shell out a few bucks for collections I like like the bugs bunny sheet a while back and others and just put them away for future history

How long has it been since anyone actually bought a stamp to use? It's been well over a year for me and I only bought it for someone else to use.

I don't like licking stamps. It's like licking door handles, and I should know!

My mother had a stamp collection, not sure what happened to it. It must be packed away somewhere "safe" as in lost in a box somewhere. I like stamps too. Mom still brings them home from overseas. Her workplace gets donations from former students and she takes the envelopes before they get thrown away. I love the Asian ones, they are so pretty.

The new star wars stamps are out I bought 2 sheets

I just picked up one of the new 2007 john adams nickles today It weirded me out since it had john adams on it instead of the usall person on it

I picked up 2 sheets of them they are cool

I ended up picking up 4 sheets of stamps at the post office A gerald ford sheet, james stewart sheet, marvel comics sheet, and a magic of disney sheet

My mom bought two pages of Elvis stamps for my two kids. I don't know where they are now, but we still have them.

my x husband liked elvis and had a sheet of elvis stamps. He was abusive during our marriage so when he forgot the sheet of stamps I decided to mail it to him using a couple of Elvis stamps.

Even as an Elvis fan I can appreciate the humour in that.

I thought about collecting stamps once but;

1) Hand stamps, ware off
2) Foot stamps (mine), make me tired
3) Foot stamps (others), hurt
4) Passport stamps, I don't have one
5) Postage stamps, get used

The stamps I buy don't get used bruce I put them in a folder or stamp book and then put them in a drawer

I'm going to get into Tral's drawer and start mailing stuff
