(I was living in England the last time they beat Australia - it's been a while.)

BBC: Kevin Pietersen hit his first ever Test century to earn the draw that gave England a 2-1 series win and the Ashes for the first time since 1987.

Not that I know a whole lot about cricket, but if I remember correctly they burned the circket bat from the original game way back when and then fight over it every now and then.
Of course we Aussies claim superiority and keep the urn here most of the time but every now and then you must let the mother country think they still have the upper hand.
I mean, for gods sakes did you see the way they carried on in the streets of London? If beating us at a game makes them happy I say go for it. We may even be able to arrange to let them win a game of Rugby League during the Tri Nations tour. Having won the Rugby Union obvously wasn`t enough for them.

If she is, I'm joining in for her side. Not sure if I should, but for Dizzy I'm there.

Hehe thanks Chicken. Come on and join in the potstirring fun.
Well we play England in the Tri Nations series this weekend and I almost hope England win this one. They got their butts kicked all over the park last week by New Zealand and considering the attitude of some Aussie officials I hope the Australian side gets some idea of how the others feel.
As I said before the Mother country needs an ego boost every now and then.

OK so we didn`t let England win.
