Poor Baby

Here is mine.. And yes Trallyes, I do not like cats.

My family and I used to be dog people. All we would ever get were dogs. I was raised for the first 12 years of my life around dogs. My dad's dog, Buddy was the one that got me off the baby bottle. She grabbed it out of my mouth and tossed it aside. WE still like dogs but my family became cat people because of one cat: Whiskas.

My youngest sister found him at the fair. He was part of a litter we were looking at that were being given away. She was going for one of the orange colored cats when Whiskas jumped up onto the chicken wire and started climbing towards her. He was meant to be ours. He was independent, graceful and sweet tempered. We lost him 12 years ago, but we think of him a lot.

We are fortunate enough to be able to raise his son, Sox as well. Now if any cat could make a person a cat lover, Sox would be it. He's the true definition of a lap cat. He loves to be petted and cuddled. He's great around children of all ages. He's 13 now, but sometimes he seems younger. He doesn't have the look of old age yet. He'll get these great spurts of energy. Just the other day he was going in the pounce stance because of a little bug that got into my partents apartment. He was all a-wiggling and meowing up a storm. It was quite adorable.

It's a she, and she is smart and very mean.

Like most women you know??? Just a'jokin' She's beautiful kristopher. I really miss not having an animal. We'd have to move, again, no pets allowed here.

Angel is prettier. And Angel was an outdoor cat when she was younger before mommy rescued her. I wouldn't be able to get such a nice outdoor shot of her now. She hates it outside. Shes spoiled. All she cares about anymore is that her batteries are charged for her toy and her bowl is full of tuna. She can't have wet cat food because every brand makes her puke. She gets dry cereal and tuna.

I remember Angel, she is beautiful. I guess I'm biased, I think all animals are beautiful. But especially all of Harold's Place members animals, they are just that much more special.
